MY journey to becoming a CERTIFIED BIRTH and postpartum doula.

Hello and Welcome! My name is Xieanne Le and I am the face behind By Your Side Birth Work, based in Las Vegas, NV. I appreciate that you took the time to explore my page! 

I am a Certified Nurturing Birth Doula, qualified for both birth and postpartum work as well as a Real Birth Company teacher. I'm also a U.S. Navy veteran, Certified Pastry Chef, and a lover of great food (and old school rap). I also have a business degree that I hardly ever use but I know I'm not the only one! My husband and daughter are my favorite traveling partners (we’re a military family and just relocated from the UK). We also have two cats that bring us snuggles and joy.  

Although I only certified as a doula a few years ago, I’ve been doing the work of a doula for as long as I can remember! I was just 16 when I supported my friend throughout her first pregnancy; I remember the awe I felt at the power of a woman’s body, and how wonderful and miraculous it felt to attend the birth of her child. It was a sensation that never left me. And over the years, I have supported numerous friends and family through their birth journeys, and beyond.

Whether you are expecting a baby or have recently welcomed a new bundle of joy, I am here to provide you with the compassion, guidance and encouragement you desire. As a doula, I offer a range of services in the areas of birth, postpartum and infant care. My goal is to ensure that you have the best possible experience, no matter what you are going through.
